Accessible Web RAMP Platform Overview
Today’s blog post details how the Accessible Web RAMP platform helps organizations manage website accessibility, align with WCAG and ADA standards, and track compliance over time. We’ll explore the platform’s core features, including automated scanning, manual audits, task management, and documentation tools that support ongoing accessibility efforts.
Video Guide
The Accessible Web RAMP platform helps organizations test, track, fix, and maintain accessibility across their websites and web applications. It scans sites against standards such as WCAG and the ADA, prioritizes remediation work, and monitors compliance over time.
Teams use it to:
Identify accessibility violations
Assign and manage remediation tasks
Track validation scores
Generate reports and compliance documentation
Publish accessibility statements
The platform offers a 14-day free trial and keeps setup simple for beginners.
After logging in, add your website to the platform. The system runs an automated scan and displays results in the Overview tab.
From the dashboard, you can:
View your automated accessibility score
Track changes over the past 30 days
Review recommendations to improve performance
This overview gives you a quick snapshot of your current accessibility status and recent progress.
Using the Compliance Center
The Compliance Center helps you align your account with the correct regulations and standards.
Set Your Regulatory Requirements
Start with the Roadmap to Compliance. The platform walks you through a series of questions to determine which laws and regulations apply to your organization. This feature works well for companies that operate in multiple regions and must follow several legal frameworks.
Once you select the applicable regulations, save your changes. You can update them at any time.
Choose Your WCAG Conformance Level
Next, select the WCAG level you want the platform to scan against. Use the dropdown menu to choose the appropriate conformance level based on your legal or contractual requirements. After selecting your level, save the changes so future scans align with your goals.
Assign an Accessibility Advocate
Assign an accessibility advocate to your account. This person manages accessibility requests, tracks reported barriers, and coordinates responses.
To set this up:
Enter the advocate’s information
Assign the role
Have the advocate confirm the request
This step creates accountability and ensures someone handles accessibility inquiries consistently.
Create an Accessibility Page and Feedback Form
If your website does not have an accessibility page, the platform helps you create one. You can also add a feedback form that allows users to submit accessibility concerns or request accommodations.
You can route submitted tickets to team members who will fix the issue, follow up with the user, and/or track progress within the platform.
Completing these steps moves you through the policy and feedback section of the Compliance Center.
Monitoring and Documentation
Accessibility requires ongoing monitoring. The platform lets you choose which pages to scan and how often to scan them.
You can:
Scan all pages monthly
Select specific pages for review
See each page’s validation score
Check when the last scan ran
Click into any page to review detailed findings. The system highlights serious and critical violations so you can prioritize fixes.
Ongoing Monitoring and Auditing
Accessibility requires consistent oversight. The platform lets you schedule automated scans daily or weekly, with reports sent directly to your inbox and validation scores updated after each run.
You can also enable automatic logging to document accessibility improvements and demonstrate progress over time.
Because automated tools catch only part of the issues, the platform includes a manual audit grid aligned with WCAG success criteria. You can evaluate pages directly in the system or request a professional audit for a comprehensive review and remediation guidance.
