What People Are Saying

“I discovered Shawn after a long search for PDF accessibility support. His YouTube tutorials and expertise with screen readers immediately impressed me. Shawn not only resolved my document issues but also taught me how to make them truly accessible, focusing on correct tagging for screen readers. His approach goes beyond mere fixes; he empowers clients to lead their accessibility efforts. Shawn is passionate, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth, making every interaction a learning opportunity. I highly recommend him for anyone seeking to enhance document accessibility. My experience with Shawn? A perfect 10/10.”

1699571016822 Katrina Dubree – Consultant with Vanderbilt University

“I have had the pleasure of working with Shawn on a variety of document remediation, consulting, and training projects over the years. He has maintained the same level of responsiveness and professionalism no matter the type of project, whether it was a rush-order PDF project for 3 pages, or a long-term engagement of 10,000+ pages. When needed, he was always willing to jump on a call to support projects. I’m thankful to have worked with Shawn and I’m looking forward to doing more work with him in the future.

Shawn was a big part in helping us secure a contract doing document remediation and consulting as a subcontractor for the DoD. Without his security clearance and prior experience working with government, we wouldn’t have been a viable candidate for the project.

Professional, responsive, diligent, comprehensive, fair. 10/10″

I highly recommend Shawn to anyone needing ADA-compliant documents. Work ethic and attitude? Timely, professional, responsive, and accurate. I rate his business service 10/10.”

Robert Krausankas – Web Developer

“Shawn is our go-to accessibility expert. He is great at communicating the technical side of accessibility in, well, accessible terms! He tailors his approach to each project and is very thoughtful about how the end user will interact with the final product.”

Joe Ryan – The Reimagined Classroom LLC

“Shawn is an essential resource for our college. We often lack the time and technical skills to ensure our web-based documents are accessible, but with Shawn’s remediation, I know we’re compliant. Without him, we’d have to dedicate a lot of time and energy to projects that he turns around quickly and efficiently, allowing us to focus on our busy workload. Working with Shawn feels like having a safety net; he’s professional, fast, and friendly. I rate his service 10/10.”

David Steiman – Pasadena College

Shawn is an expert in the area of accessibility. He provided an overview and approach to preparing accessible documents and detailed information, and answered all my questions. I learned much in a short amount of time. I can highly recommend him. He responded quickly to my inquiry and in no time we had an appointment scheduled. Very helpful. Thank you!

Who is the Accessibility Guy?

Shawn Jordison

Shawn Jordison

My career in accessibility started when I was just 18 years old. I started as an Alternate Media Access Specialist, where I learned how to work with students with disabilities and began to understand the importance of accessibility.

Over the years I have fully transformed into an Accessibility Champion and try to bring my skills and expertise to every project I touch.

My passion for accessibility extends beyond my professional endeavors. I’ve dedicated myself to continuous learning and advocacy, attending conferences, conducting research, and staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in the field.
