Additionally, with features such as customizable language settings, high color contrast mode, and independent slide navigation, PPT Live empowers users to interact with presentations in a more accessible and dynamic manner.

To access PowerPoint Live, simply open your PowerPoint presentation in your Microsoft 365 account and navigate to the “Present” button on the far right-hand side. From the dropdown menu, select “Present Live” to initiate the session. This generates a QR code and session link that participants can use to join the presentation.

Once the session is live, participants gain access to a range of interactive features.

Navigation and transcription:

From the participant’s perspective, they can navigate through the slide deck independently, review content, and access timestamps for reference. Additionally, users can transcribe the language into different languages, enhancing accessibility for diverse audiences.

Captioning:

While presenting live, participants can also benefit from built-in captions by selecting the “Turn on subtitles” button in the Options panel. This feature displays captions in real-time, making presentations more inclusive for individuals with hearing impairments.
