How to Install and Use Kurzweil 3000 Read the Web Toolbar in Chrome

Step 1: Logging In
- Go to Kurzweil3000.com and enter your sign-in credentials.
- Select the “Login” button.
Step 2: EnablingKurzweil 3000 Read the Web
If you encounter issues with the “Enable read the web” button at the bottom left corner of the screen, follow these steps:
- Go to Google.com.
- Search for “read the web Kurzweil” and select the top-level “read the web” link.
- Add it to your Chrome extensions.
- Pin the extension for easy access.
Step 3: Reading Web Content
Now that you’ve enabled the Read the Web feature, let’s start reading web content:
- Open a web page or an online document that you want to read.
- Select the “Read Book” option.
Step 4: Launching the Extension
To use the Kurzweil 3000 Read the Web Toolbar:
- Click on the extension icon in your browser’s toolbar.
- Enter your Kurzweil username and password.
Step 5: Enjoying Web Content
Once you’ve logged in, you have the power to access web content in an accessible format:

- Select the “Play” button to have the content read aloud to you.
- Click the “Options” button to change the voice and reading speed to your preference.
- Click anywhere on the screen to have the content read out loud with your chosen settings.
