How to Crop an Image in Microsoft PowerPoint
Today’s post focuses on an essential skill for crafting visually appealing, accessible presentations: how to crop an image in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Video Guide
Selecting the Image:
To begin, identify the image you wish to crop. Right-click on the selected image and navigate to “Format Picture” to access additional customization options.
Navigating to Crop Options:
Within the formatting menu, locate the “Picture” button, which houses the crop options. While initially daunting, mastering this feature will greatly enhance your presentation design capabilities.
Adjusting Crop Size:
Focus on refining the dimensions of your image by adjusting the crop size. Use the “Up Arrow” or directly input specific values to fine-tune the cropping process. In our scenario, we’ll be concentrating on trimming the left-hand side of the image to optimize slide space.
Perfecting Image Placement:
After adjusting the crop size, ensure the image fits seamlessly within your presentation. Resize it as necessary to achieve a harmonious layout.
