Add Images

Enhance Visuals
Adding Shapes and Lines
- Decorative Elements:
- Insert a line underneath the heading for visual separation.
- Mark the line as decorative to ensure it does not interfere with screen readers.
List Implementation
Creating Bulleted Lists
- Add a bulleted list to the flyer to organize tips and information clearly.
- Customize list items with appropriate icons and styles for clarity.
Accessibility Checks

Verifying Accessibility
- Using Built-in Tools:
- Use Venngage’s accessibility checker to ensure the flyer meets basic accessibility requirements.
- Adjust any elements flagged by the checker, such as alt text and tag order.
- Document Tags:
- Verify that all headings and text are properly tagged (e.g., H1, H2) to maintain a logical reading order.
Set Metadata
Completing Document Information
- Ensure the document title is set to “Top Tips for MS Word”.
- Check that the document language is set to English.
- Fill in additional metadata fields like Author, Subject, and Keywords for better document indexing.
Export the Flyer
Save and Verify the PDF
- Export as PDF:
- Save the flyer as a PDF.
- Open the tags panel in Adobe Acrobat to ensure all elements are correctly tagged and described.
- Final Accessibility Check:
- Use Adobe Acrobat’s accessibility checker to run a final test.
- Make any necessary adjustments based on the checker’s feedback.

Final Validation
Use the PAC 2024 Tool
- Run the PDF through the PAC 2024 tool to verify it meets PDF/UA and WCAG standards.
- Confirm that the document passes all accessibility tests without requiring additional work.
By following these steps, you can create an accessible flyer using Venngage that complies with accessibility standards and ensures all users can access and understand the content.
